Colonel E.H. Taylor Cured Oak Straight Kentucky Bourbon Vintage
Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Cured Oak is a distinctive, limited-edition bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, created to showcase the character that carefully seasoned oak can bring to whiskey. Its barrels were made with American white oak staves air-dried for 13 months—more than twice the typical curing period—before being used to mature the bourbon.
Bottled in bond at 100 proof, this Kentucky straight bourbon offers a rich, oak-led profile balanced by sweetness and warm spice. The extended stave-curing process gives the whiskey a particularly expressive wood character, with layers of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, and baking spice. A memorable bottle for collectors and bourbon enthusiasts drawn to E.H. Taylor’s historic style and uncommon releases.
